’82 just became Chuck Norris today’

Happy Birthday Chuck Norris! Popular for his cult action movies in the 1980s to 1990s, the action icon is turning incredibly 82 today and the guy is still kicking.

Born on March 10, 1940 in Ryan, Oklahoma, United States, we are not sure if he was actually born on this date or if he simply appeared on Earth 82 years ago.

The martial arts legend and actor has appeared in countless films since 1969, leading to an endless stream of Chuck Norris jokes and memes over the years.

Although it is a known fact that Norris has gone mad martial arts skills, you may not have known that the star also holds a black belt in Tang Soo Do, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and judo.

He has also won several martial arts championships.

Bruce Lee suggested in 1972 that Norris would be one of the main villains in Away from the dragon.

This is the movie known for the iconic fight scene between the two friends in a one-on-one fight at the Colosseum in Rome.

Their epic battle lasted 10 minutes, during which the two fighters actually made physical contact and threw several punches at each other.

The scene was dubbed as one of the most intense and well choreographed fight scenes in the history of the martial arts genre.

Norris lost the fight because he played the antagonist in the movie.
