Google Camera 8.1 has been ported to the Redmi 11 Pro and 11X. Many people might think that the Redmi 11 Pro and 11X runs the same hardware as the Mi 9T, which has a F/1.8 wide-angle lens, but it’s not true. It’s actually the same hardware as the Mi Mix 3, except for the front camera. It’s a F/2.0 wide-angle lens, with a Sony IMX363 sensor. There is a camera.xml file in the system partition, but it’s empty. It’s the same situation as the Mi 9T and Redmi K20 Pro, so we need to use the official Google Camera port to get a working Google Camera port

Google Camera for Mi 11x (Pro)
The Mi 11x series in India includes two smartphone variants – Mi 11x and Mi 11x Pro. The vanilla Mi 11x is equipped with a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor, the same sensor we saw in the Redmi K20. The Mi 11x Pro features a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor that uses 9-in-1 pixel binning technology to produce 108MP images. As for the default camera app, it’s similar to other Xiaomi phones. The Mi 11x takes decent photos, but if you set aside the Google Camera app, you can improve the camera’s performance.

GCam 8.1 mod requires no changes, but if you are using GCam 7.3 on your Redmi Note 10 series phone, you can apply the settings below for better results.

- First, download this configuration file to your smartphone.
- Now create a new folder called GCam.
- Open the GCam folder and create another folder called configs7.
- Now paste the configuration file into the configs7 folder.
- Next, open the Google Camera app and double-click on the black empty space next to the shutter button.
- Click the displayed settings (with mi11xp-config.xml) available in the pop-up window and click the Restore button.
- Go back to the application drawer and open the application again.
There is no need to change settings to use the Google Camera 8.1 port on the Mi 11x and Mi 11x Pro. However, you can make some changes in the Settings section to suit your needs.
