Fans of Aquaman star Jason Momoa and his wife, Lisa Bonet, scoffed at the actor after reports that he moved in with her a month after announcing their split.
According to a report published by the celebrity news website BScott.comthe 42-year-old actor moved in with his 54-year-old estranged wife to give their marriage another chance.
“Jason moved back in with Lisa about two weeks ago and they are totally back together. They decided to work on things instead of throwing in the towel because they invested so much in each other,” said a friend of the couple. HollywoodLife†
Fans have since joked about their suspicion that Momoa took the lead in this decision because of his potentially unpleasant experience of being single and dating.
Despite making fun of Jason, fans seem happy with their decision to give their marriage another chance.
Their two teenage children, 14-year-old daughter Lola and 13-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf are also said to be “thrilled” that their parents are working to mend their marriage.
“Everyone really hopes they can make this work this time,” the source added.
These developments come after the couple is released a joint statement on Instagram announcing their separation on January 12.
“We have all felt the pressures and changes of these transformative times… A revolution is unfolding and our family is no exception… feeling and growing through the seismic shifts that are taking place. And so we share our family news, that we part in marriage.
“We’re not sharing this because we think it’s newsworthy, but so we can do it with dignity and honesty as we live our lives.
“The love between us continues and evolves in a way that it wants to be known and loved. We free each other to be who we learn to become. our dedication [is] unshakable for this holy life and our children.
“If we teach our children what is possible, live prayer, love can prevail,” the statement said.
Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet started dating in 2005 and got married in 2017.
