Here’s what happened to Kaizer Chiefs’ Reeve Frosler last season, and now he’s looking for more.
Frosler is one of the possible starters for Stuart Baxter when they face traditional rivals Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
“It was last season…I remember it very clearly,” Frosler said of his moment in the sun. “What made the difference (in that game) is that we worked well as a team. When you do well as a team, the individuals look better. And because the team did well, I also did a little better than I normally do.”
And now Frosler is looking forward to Saturday’s game and says he is a little nervous and would have liked to have had the supporters there to give it the atmosphere.
“It’s exciting… a little bit of nerves here and there. I don’t think there are that many nerves without the fans there. We would have loved to have seen the fans back.
“But yeah, I’m excited and looking forward to getting it right again. Hopefully I’ll get the chance to do what I’m good at.
“Personally, I looked at my performance in the Baroque game to see where I could improve and where I had done well. It’s important to see what you can do better and what you need to keep doing for the next game. ”
