RACE 6 NO 4 LONG WHITE CLOUD – WIN
This Eric Sands trained lucky guy was a very unlucky loser last time. She looked like a winner, but got stuck at a crucial stage and was roped in by Duplicity.
The two will meet again, but Long White Cloud has drawn number 1 and is 0.5kg better off.
Bred in Ireland, she is actually six months younger than her local counterparts and matures. But she has a bright future and is one to follow.
RACE 8 N0 9 VOLDEMORT – EVERY ROAD
Bred in purple, we probably haven’t seen the best of this gelding and he certainly disappointed in his last start in December where he finished 10th in a field of 11 horses. Anton Marcus rode him on that occasion and reported that the horse kept switching legs throughout the race.
What’s interesting is that Marcus is back aboard Voldemort today and if he’s anywhere close to his best this son of William Longsword will show this field a clean pair of heels.
