According to court records obtained by FOX Business, the 45-year-old "Dawson's Creek" alum filed a breach of contract lawsuit against
the broadcasting giant and the podcasting business in Los Angeles Superior Court on August 26.
The filings state that the "Varsity Blues" actor last year developed an interest in producing and hosting a podcast based on his well-known acting career and life.
The filings stated that "James) started to pursue a potential for establishing a podcast based on
his long playing career, onscreen personas, and life as a husband and father of six" in late 2021.
He would host the podcast, conduct interviews, offer comments and behind-the-scenes information on prior work, and convey
the type of distinctive perspective as an artist, seeker, and public person that has come to be the hallmark of his social media presence.
